Commissioning is not a week at the end of the job

Programmes routinely allow two weeks for BMS commissioning at the very end, after every other trade has overrun into that window. The result is a building that technically works and practically doesn't.

Commissioning should start at design stage. If the control strategy is written with witnessing in mind - measurable setpoints, defined sequences, clear pass criteria - the site phase becomes verification rather than invention.

Soft landings pay for themselves

Returning after the first heating season to retune setpoints, schedules and optimum start is the cheapest energy project available to any building owner. We build it into our handover as standard.
