Ageing Trend IQ1, IQ2 and IQ3 estates still run thousands of buildings. We upgrade controllers, supervisors and networks to current IQ4 and IQ Vision platforms, reusing existing field wiring and devices wherever possible to keep cost and disruption down.

Upgrading Trend IQ controllers without starting again
Many London buildings still run on older Trend IQ controllers that are hard to support and hard to integrate. A Trend IQ upgrade replaces or modernises the controllers while keeping the existing wiring, field devices and much of the strategy.
The result is a supported, better performing system at a fraction of the cost and disruption of a full replacement.

Usually not. Most upgrades reuse the existing field wiring and devices, which keeps cost and disruption down.
Will the building stay running during the upgrade?+
Yes. Controllers are changed over one at a time or in phases, normally out of hours.
Can the strategy be improved at the same time?+
Yes. An upgrade is a good moment to fix control issues and add energy saving features.
How do we know if our Trend system needs upgrading?+
Common signs are unsupported controllers, failing hardware, a slow front end or difficulty getting spares. We can survey the system and advise.
